Our company is under the full title of HELLENIC BIODIESEL AND WATER GLASS S.A. while our distinctive one is ELVI. HELLENIC BIOPETROLIUM S.A. and thus we activate in the field of production and trade of biofuel such as “BIO DIESEL”
  EL.VI. SA is the leader producer of biodiesel in the Greek domain since it was the sole one to materialize such an endeavor, while it completed the full scale of biodiesel production in the year 2005. It is worth mentioning that it was the exclusive supplier, until September 2006, of the two refineries in Greece that are the recipients of this product according to legal framework.

 

• It all started on the 30th of December of the year 2005 when the first and sole biodiesel sale was performed in Greece for that year and it was for the 25 m3, from our installations in Stavrochori-Kilkis to the HEL.PE installations in Kalochori-Thessaloniki, based on the legislation Governmental Ministerial Decision of “Δ6/Φ.18/ΟΙΚ.24709/22.12.2005”
  
  
• Until the 31st of December of 2006 the amount of 32.300 m3 of identical biodiesel was produced and forwarded to the refineries of the Country (ΗEL.PE., MOTOR OIL as well as to others such as SHELL HELLAS based on the legislation G.M.D. of “Δ1/Β/ΟΙΚ.8392/20.04.06”

• Up to the 31st of December 2007 33.700 m3 of identical biodiesel was produced and directed to its recipients based on the G.M.D. of “Δ1/Α/3495/14.02.07”.
